Street Cars Consumed
On Thiursday morning laat, about onc o'eloek, the storehouse and office of the An.ii Ai-bor Street Car Co., on Detroit st., burned, together with the entire contents of each, excepting one c:tr that was saved in a quite badly sflorched conditáon. The company lost five cars and a trailer that cost upwards of $25,000. There was an Insurance of $11,000 upon the building and contents, held by .Tas. R. Bat-li's agency. TMs event caused the stoppage of the street car systera entirely, and it wlll not start again untll more cars can be obtained. Just what the company proposes to do is not known yet. The buildings will probably not be rebuilt in their old locatioii, and it is probable that the route wlll be changed aad the cars run straight down Main st. to Depot at-, and the barns and power house be loiated on that street somewhere
