Kow the University hos liad a set back, and the new state imiversitles in ether western states and the Standard Oil College in Chicago are attracting students from the west who would naturally come here, henee it behooves the city to wake up and advertise, advertise, advertise, to attraot families from the east where expenses are higher tlum here. There are vacant houses in town, and hundreds oï vacant i-ooms. We can fill them and make a denmand tor more. We can keep Ann Arbor growing and make property continue to advenoe in valué. A plan has been suggested to get out a beautifully illustrated work to be ealled "Picturesque Ann Arbor and Universlty of Michigan," after the manner of som of the very euccessful ea stern publieations.
