If in the future May beoonies a month in whieh people flock to Ann Arbor to hear a great Festival, as they do to Woreester, ('incinnati and Indianapolis, Ann Arbor will be on the high road to a prosperity as yet undreamed by the most optimistic frind of the city. All this is possible ' for -sve have a fine chorus as an artistlc nucleus ; we have a corps of artists in the University School of Miislc whose artistic standing will entitle them to the right of appearing in the concerts ; and in connection with these artistic advantages, we have a body of citizens ever alert to every movement which promises good to the University and city ; and students who will always rel):.nl with enthusiasm to anything whieh resounds to the honor and glory of the TJ. of SI. Such feelings are being aroused by the announeements of the coming Festival which greet is ar every ha.nd.
