Sawyer and Evart H. Scott have gone to Cavanaugh Lake, fishing, to-day. Samuel Krause lias gone to Grand Rapids and the western part of the State, 011 busmesss. Jocob Seyler of Waterloo, Ont., attende'd tbe funeral of bis brother A. I). Seyler, last Sunday. Mrs. Dr. J. W. Morton goes to Detroit to-day to visit her sister, Mrs. Geo. W. Millen, for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Amos, formerly of Owosso, have taken up their permanent residence in Ann Arbor. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. L. Vandawarker entertained Chas. Vowles and sister, of Mt. Pleasant, over Sunday. Frank Miller and wife, of Pittsburg, Pa., have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. F. Besimer during the past week. Cashier Fred H. Belser, Herbert A. Williams and Frank L. Pack have gone to Cavanaugh Lake for the day. Fred Standish wife and baby of Ann Arbor visited his parents yesterday, and will return to-day. - Stockbridge Sun. Mrs. G. W. Patterson has been entertuining Mrs. W. J. Cocker and Mrs. A. L. Millard, of Adrián, during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Worden, of San Francisco, Cal., are in the city on a visit to their parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Worden. Eev. Mr. Easterbrook of the Baptist Churcli, has gone to Boston, to receive treatment frotn his formor physician. ïhe trouble is insomnia. Mrs. Dr. Gibbs, nee Belle Chapin, of Chicopee Falls, Mass, arrived in the city this a. va., and w'ill visit her cousiu Miss Lou Giles for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Robinson have been entertaining W. W. McOmber anrl family for a few days. They are on their way from their Florida winter ïouie to their summer home in Petoskev.
