It has happeiied before that a man lias gotten himself hito trouble by neglecttag to give his wife the letters for her which he has in his pocket, but t&e present predicaruent oí a postal elerk in' Maine has some new features. While hamdling the mail not long ago he saw a letter directed to iüs wife and put it into his pocket iniste&d of letting it go through the usual ciLannels. Another clerk in the eer saw htm take the letter, and not koiowüig who it was for, repoi-ted the fact to hls superior officers, and as a result the offeaider is now suspended from duty awaiting a hearing on the charge of robbing the mails. One of the daanaging facts against him is that he forgot to give the letter to his wife when he got home and aarried it in his pocket on another trip over the road.-
