The Washtenaw Oounty Fair to be held at Ann Arbor, Sept. 25-28, promises to be a great snccess in every way. ï!ie program for the Fair will be both novel arií! popular. The regular exhibits promise to be better tlian ever before, and besides this many aew features will be added. Besides the regular premiums ofiêred there will be a nuniberof special premiums given by merchants and others interested in the Fair. Tlie board oí managers luis taken a wise step in setting aside Wednesday, Sept. 26, as School Day. Splendid prizes consisting of money and beautif-ul flags wil! be awarded to the schools of the county having the largest percentage of scholars in attendance. County Comtnissioner Cavanaugh will act as president of the day. Addresses will be made by Supt. A. E. Jennings, of Mánistee, candidato for Superintendent of Public Instruction, Principal Boone, of the Michigan State Normal School, Supt. W. S. Perry, of Ann Arbor, and Supt. M. A. Whitney, of Ypsilanti. Two hundred school children will give a grand concert, to be couducted by .Miss Lucy K. Cole, of Ann Arbor. The prïce of admission to scholars and teachers on School Dáy will be only ten cents. The interest sliown promises that this day will be one of the greatest in tn the educational annals of Waehtenaw Couuty. A nother special feature of the Fair I will be the splendid exhibition to be given each day by Bronco John's Wild West, of whieh J. H. Sullivan, thenoted scout and frontiersman, is owner and manager, It will thus be possible for every visitor to the Fair to wituess one of the most magnificent exhibitions of Western Hfe and custoins ever brorfght before the public, and this without any extra charge. Mr. Sullivan bas modals, hwarded him . by ex-President Arthur, and friends in Xew Mexico, for saving lln lives of whitcs frona tlie attacks of Indiana. He lias a strong combination I of f-rontiersrnen, and will give a fine exhibition of life in tlie far West. The livestoek departnient will be of the greatest interest to all owners of domestic animáis. Prominent breeders and heardsmen will bring tlieir best droves, flocks and herds. The speed contests will be of the greatest interest, as some of the best horses in the state will enter for tfielarge premiums offered. These are only a few of the feacures of the Fair. The entries made in every department give assnrance that the Fair vviJl be a success in every way, and that there will be a fine exhibition in every department. No one can afford to miss the county fair this year. Let every man, wonian and child in tlie county spend at least one day in looking over the large exhibits and enjoying the special attractions.
