A kito made by a Brooklyn man is attracting attention because of its gigantic dimeusions. It meaaures seventeen feetfrom top to bottom and fourteen and a half feet across. It has the usual coffin-like shape of kites flovvn by the small boy, but its material necessarily differs. The frame is made of oaken boards three and a half iuches wide ant one and a half inches thick and the covering is of light canvas. He onh got his kite out ouue. Accompanied by fifty boys, who had watched the construotion of the affair for a week, lie took his monster to the little hill an: experienced little trouble in gettinjj it to take to the winds. It aped heavenward with sucli force that ten youngsters, who had taken hold of therope attached to it, were carried along some distance before they had time to let go. The winding machine employed was an ordinary hose reel and his line was like those used on clothes line pulleys. The latter was 1,600 feet long and it was pulled out to the full length.
