About 2,500 háye been graduated from this school. The Normal School lms a small fund ariafng from the sale of laixls granted iiy the state. The interest on this tund in 1893 was $4,143.10. The last legislature appropriated $50,110 for 1893, aad the same for 1894. Therè was ateo appropriated $20,000 fora gymnasium. These fees go to various funds for general and special purposes of expense. The 'college coat the taxpayer on au average of about five cents for each $1,000 of his assessed valuation. Tlll! MINING SCHOOL. There were 92 students present in 1893. The appropriittions for 1893-4 were 110,000. $35,000 of this sum is to be used in the construction of an engineerng building, the remainder for current expenses.
