The local branch of the King's Daughters is in a very active eondition, being the largest one of college girls in the wliole hiuuil land, and the largest of any kind in Michigan. The oilïcers for the pief-ent college year wil] be as follows: Miss Katherine Puacheon, president; Miss Mlnnie Marshall, secretary, and Miss EfBe Danforth, treasurer. The object of last ITriday's receptión was to lay on; ivurk for the year, which object was aceömplished by appointing a series oL comuiittees of ten, each committee to have charge of a definite branch of church work. "Ten" muuber oue will attend to the calis nesessary to keep the [JniverBlty girls of the church well acquainted. The second "ten" will have charge of a sewing school. "Ten"' number three is a charitable committee. "FlowerTen" comes fourth with the duty imposed upon them of supplying the church with flowers. The íiíth committee will assist the minister in his correspondence, etc. The King's Daughter's have arranged to bring Mrs. Dickiñson, general secretary of the King's Daughters of the United States, to Ann Arbor to speak, soine time during the year.
