That new leaf. Turn it over to-morrow. .Taimary lst, 1895. And what is quite as important, keep it turned over. AVhen you have made a good resolve don't let anything except deatli break it. It will bring }-ou happiness and joy. It will bring your friends happiness and joy. Do not think, yoflng man, tor a moment that no one is interested in you, íor there are tnany who are. Whether you do right or wrong is of great consequence to that mother of yours; or if she has, naayhap, gone to that other land tó await your coming some day and to intercede íor you before that great white thrbne where all true mothers go unquestioned and unchalleged, then that father, that sister, that brother or some other relative or friend is interested. Your walk in life is of great consequence to some one, and there are always those who rejoice or sorrow as you do right or wrong. He who so'vs the wind reaps the whirlwind, is one of the trust sayings between the lids of that grandest of all books ever ritten orprinted. Do not sow the wind, and you will not have to reap the certain consequen ces. To-morrow, New Year's Day, 1895, resolve to yourself that you will not allow Satan to ïnake a tooi of you, but for your own good, and the happiness of your relativos and friends, that you will do what is right, as you are to see the right. Let 1895, the commencement of the last half of the last decade of this century, be a red letter year in your life ; A turning point, from whence you can date the begining of a new and better self.
