Holmes, Dear Sister :- Tour last letter and clippiflg-s i-eceived, as alsO' the box. Ma.ny thanlcs for the box. We have ïcceired and distributed 100 lbs. and over, to 200 or 230 families and the dema-nd seems to. increase rather than dimiaisli. We now need flovir and fuel. I neier saw bucJi a total failure oí crops. Ojio hiundred per cent. of farmers raised nothing but corn lodflor, not onO ear of corn, nor one busliel of xiats, potatoes or wheat, and no garden stolt. That clipping wa& a gross misrepreseiiiCataion.- Gol luwe mercy on the poor and he will, "foir liis mercy endureth tarever." You may publish ■tihis if yooi wish. Yours truly, X. S. LOWTUE,, Pres.
