Ladies' Library Election

At the animal meeling of the Ladies' Library association held at the library, the following offlcers were chosen : President, Mrs. Beman ; vice-president, Mis. Bach ; treasurer, Mrs. Jaycox; secretary, Mrs. Huber; directora, Mrs. Jaycox, Mrs. Carrow, Mrs. Martin, Miss Goodrich, Mrs. Huber. The librarian's report showed that 81 new books had been added during the year, the total nurnber novï in the library being 3,277. The treasurer reported a balance on band of $39.49. Ten new mernbers were mustered into Coanpany A last "Wednesday eveniing. Jacob Anspach of this city, has been granted an original pension through the agency of W. K. Childs.
