In view of the coming great attraction, the female minstrel entertainment, by local talent, we have been handed the following with a request to publish : The minstrel show Is all the go. You must not fall to see Our pretty girls, "TheSmoked Pearls,' Who'll sing and dance for thee. The ladies fair, With pretty hair. Who come to view the sight; We wish to ask, ('Twill be no task) To wear no bat thal nlght. Or, a little one, To see the fun, Those behind you can see o'er Adopt thestjle And win asmile From the men for evermore. Mary had a little hen, 'Twas feminine and queer; It laid like smoke when eggs were cheap And quit when eges were dear. The air is feeling hazy, The sap is in the trees; You areteeliDg lazy- All you want to do is sneeze. Who is itputs me in my bed And tucks the covers round my head? My mother. Who is it makes me get a cough By kicking all those coyer off? My brother.
