The weekly erop bulletin, issued from Lansing, lias this to say of the prospecta : Soutliera Section - This week lias found the spring work in this section in full blast. The weather has been favorable for general spring planting. Oat seeding has been quite general and will soon be finished. Many are planting potatoes. Plowing continúes to be general and preparing for corn is no w in order. Reports frorn parts of Washtenaw county state that winter wheat is looking badly and is in great need of wanner weather and rain, which are also needed in all parts of this section. Summary - The week seems to have been favorable in most sections. In the nortliern section, the warm, dry weather has allowed of a general beginning in plowing, caused grass and winter grain to start, and allowed of some spring planting. In the central section, farm work is advaucing rapidly, and in the southern is vvell started in most all ines of spring work. Although the dry weather has fltted much ground for the plow vegetation is in need of warm rains, especially as the spring so far has heen very deficiënt in moisture.
