Cooley Bust Dedication
Cliairman Gardner, of the committee on the Cooley bust dedication, told the Courier this morning tliat arrangements were now alrnost completed for tha dedication. The date is now dependent apon Judge Ilornblower, of New York, , but will l;e either May 20 or 24, the date being at his option. Judge Hornblower will speak for the nation concerning Judge Cooley. Gov. Rich, it is expected, will speak in behalf of the people of the state. Professor Levi T. Griffin will give an address for the faculty, and R. J. Barr will present the bust to the regents in behalf of the class. Prof. Stanley will see that appropriate music is provided. The bust, whicli is now completed and is eminently satisfaotory to Judge Cooley and his family, will probably be placed in the law library. It will be on a mahogany pedestal, on which will be a bronze pĂate containing the names 'of all niembers of the class. The exercises upon the dedication will take place on the afternoon oi the date chosen and will be held in University hall.
