Aretns Duun, of No. 49 E. Washington st., whose death we noted yesterday, was one of the oldest residents of Aun Arbor, having come to this city over sixty years ago. His face had become a familiar one to most of our residents, and he was universally respected. His deatli is a great loss to the ranks of the old pioneers, taking away aa it does one of the most prominent members. These links to the early days of our city are rapidly disappearing and soon they will be gone. The deceased leaves a wife and two step children, Mrs. Wilkinson and Frank Otis, both of whoin reside elsewhere. Mr. Dunn liad been married twice, his flrst wife dying along in 1849. Directly after her death he took the overland trip to California with a companion wliich trip was full of tbrillinti experiences, which of later years he was fond of relnting to the little coterie of older people who gather daily to talk over oíd times. The funeral services will be held from the residence Thursday afternoon, at 4 o'clock, Rev. Dr. Caniden M. Cobern preaching the sermón, and interrínent will be in Forest Hill ceineterv. It was 64 years ago last May when Mr. Dunn íirst set foot on Ann Arbor soil, and tlie changes that lie has seen liere would niake a wonderfully interesting volume.
