Two Good Receipts
A lady hamled us tbe two fóllowing easonable reoipts the other day, with he suggestion that tliey were good nough to publish : Peach Tapioca - Boil one coffee cup of ipioca until clear, using a doublé boilr and begitming with tliree Cups of vater ; pour over tbe contenta of a can f peaches draiued from the juice and aid in a baking dish. Set in tbe oven or half an hour and serve with creaui auce or cream and sugar. Cheese Straws.- Ono of the latest conceits for the dinner table is the servng of some cheese dish. This is usualy in the form of ramequins or cheese straws both of which are delicious reishes. Cheese straws are easily made md ahvays successful. Mix one cupul of grated ebeese with a cupful of flour, a half teaspoonful of salt, a pinch of cayenne pepper and a piece of butter the size of an egg. Add enough cold water to enable you to rol! tbe paste thin ; then cut it in strips seven incbes long and one-half inch wide. Put tbem in tins and bake in a quick oven from five to ten minutes. They are often served tied with ribbons.
