Bad Fire for the W. M. F. I. C. Monday morning, at about 7 :30 o'clock the two barns, hog house, etc., with contents, oí Addison Carryell, located on Section 6 of Ypsilanti, about two and one-half miles northwest of Ypsilanti and five and one-half miles east and Bouth of this city, were burned to the ground. The buildings were sured in the ashtenaw Mutual Fire Ins. Co., for $1,250, wkicta is considered two-thirds of their value. There was an insurance of $700 on farm personal ïjroperty, which ill probably cover two-thirds of the loss. One horse, two mules, several hogs, and a numbër of fowls were buraed, although all the animáis but the mulos were got out pf the barn once, Imt turned back again in spite of all efforts, and were burned up. The loss is estimatod at upwarde of $3,000. IIow the fire occurred is a mystery. NeitherMr. Carryell or bis worknaan ever sinoke, and the barna were kept clean and neat. The only theory is that some tram]) dropped a uiatch in the stall by the mules, which was stepped on and lighted.
