White House Babies

There have been six children born in :he White House, of whom the first, Irs. Wlleox, a gray-haired lady of 65, a clerk in the treasury department nd the last, little Esther Cleveland, is an important member of the Gray Gables household. Mrs. Wilcox is the daughter of Mrs. Andrew Jackson Donaldson, a niece of President Jackson, and the wife of nis private secretary! A brother and sister of hers, also born in the White House, died in infancy The fourth White House child was Richard Tyler Jones, who died in poverty in Washington recently, and who was a grandsoii of President Tyler. The fifth White H use baby was Julia Dent Grant, the dausrhter of Colonel Fred Grant.
