Dr. Cobern of the Methodist ehurch is very mucli pleased with the cordial spirit of helpfulness manifested by the churches in arranging for the entertainment of the Detroit Conference which meets liere Sept. 11 to 16. J)r. Gelston Jias wrikten to lam saying: "We shall be glad to accomodate you in the use of MeMillan Hall and also in the use of the lecture room of our ehurch for the Lay Conference." He also adds: "Can you not eee also that good men are assigned to iny pulpit the Conference Sunday ?" The Secretary of the Hobart Guild writes: "Deur Sir: At a combined meeting of the Hobart Guild and Vestry of St. Andrew's parish, a resolution was passed granting to you the use oi Harria Hall during the session of the M. E. Conference in thia city Sept. 11 to 10, for any purposes for which you may desire the saine."
