Beans promise 7l per cent ; potatoes,81 per cent; apples i's percent: and peaches SO per cent; n f average crops. The raeiin temperature of the Stilte for the.month was 07.9 derees. The mean temperature of the Southern four tiers of counties was 70.4 degrees, of the central counties, 61S.5. of the nortliern, 64.9; and of the upper península, 0.24 degrees. Compared withthe normal there was a slight excess in each section except the northern. The average rainfall in the State durng the month was 3.09 inches; in the southeni counties, 3.35 inches ; in the central, 3.14 inches; in the northern, 2. (8 inches, and in the upper península, 2.30 inches. Compared with the normal there was an excess in thesouthern and central counties and the State, and a leficiency in the northern counties and the upper península. In the southeni jart of the State the rainfall after the 22d was nearly three times the amount revious to that date.
