School Board Organization

The school board met last eyeniug in Prof. Perry's room and proceeded to organize for the year with the following result : President - Evart II. Scott. Taeasurer - Miss Eirnna E. Bower. Secretaiy - John R. Hiner. After the election President Seott announced the following committees: l'inance - Trustees Gruner, Smith and Mack. Teachers and Text Books - Trustees Beal, Miner and Bach. - Trustees Mack, Bower and Gruner. Buildings and Grounds - Trustees Jacobs, Beal and Scott. A special cómmittee conitin of Trustees Gruner, Mack and Bower was appointed to confer with a like commit- tee from the council with reference to the appointment of a traant officer. It was decided to hold an adjourned meeting on Tuesday evening of next week.
