An Open Letter
To the Common Council and ospeclally to The Board of Public Works : I would draw your atlention to the condition of Packard street, be. tv een Hanover Square and Wells st., especially to tliat part ïrom State st. and Wells sti. I'or nearly a month over that Street has been hardly fit tol travel. Tl.ere is au electrlc car line tho wbole length of 1he street. Cars run on the track every 15 minutes, pretty regular, and only on one side of the stieet is there a chance to travel with a team, aud a poor chancej at that. I ivould suggest that the members of the common council get a good lumber Avagon, and a lively span of hoises, sueh as the city owns, and diire over the road at a good smart trot, to give the members an idea of the condition of the street CHRISTIAN EBEEBACH.
