To Abandon St. Louis

The Aim RaUroad Co. luis been grading for the past few weeks, prepanilory to the chaugü of theirroad from Si. Louis, so :is lo abandon tiiat place and run direct from Iihaca to Alma. St. Louis decided to stop the change, and recenüy tiled a bilí in the (Jratiot county circuit court restraining the Aun Arbor Co. from changlng its route. Judge Daboll enteied an order to show cause why it should not be done. The hearing was held yesterday before Judge Eldredge, in the absence of Judge Daboll. The defendants, in their answer admitted that they intended to abandon St. Louis altogether, on account; of bad curves and grades. 'íhe complainants were representcd by E. A. Cooley, of Bay City, and the defendants by A. Smith, of Toledo. Judge Kldredge reserved his decisión for a week. -
