Wagner returned home Saturday aft-er a stay of two months in Topeka, Kas. , Einest Perry came down from Bay City to attend the funeral of James Clemente, last Friday. Mist Bena Seyler has been visiting her brother Prof. Juüus V. Seyler, in Detroit, during the week. Rev. and Mrs. Henry Tatlock will receive the members of St. -i.ndrew'8 parish on Friday evening. Miss Fannie Minnis, of Ypsilantl, v as in the city the last of the week, returning; home Saturday. John Allen, of Macedón, N. Y., was iai the city Monday calling apon Eugene Beal and Mrs. R. A. Beal. i Miss Gertrude Brundage, a Normal student from Lapeer, spent Sunday v itli her friend Miss Alma Litchfield, of Gott st. George B. Dygert has been apending a short time with his mother here, on his way from the east to San l'rancisco. Day Belding has returned Jrom Colorado to spend the -winter with his mother, Mrs. Ann Belding, of the Korthslde. Tio; Stanley was so.ill Sunday that he was unable to attend to his duties as organist of the M. E. church, and Misil Fishr took his place. John B. Dowdigan, D. D. ü., '88 of Owosso, has been visiting his old Lome here during the week. He relortir a prosperous beginning at his profession. Mr. and Mrs. Hughes, Mrs and Miss Harnhouse and Mrs. Just, of South I-jon, have been guesta af Mr. and Mi-s. C. C. Warner, of E. Ann st., during the week. Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Adams entertained a few friends very pleasantly last Friday evening, It was sn informal party and greatly enjoyed by thoso present.
