Another Washtenaw Pioneer Gone
Allen F. Eockwell, lit '96, went o Sjïvan last week to attend ihe funeral oí nis grandfather, Deaals lioekv ell, who died last Thursday at Uie age oí SI years. Mr. Eockweíl -.vas an oíd pioneer, having lived in Lima 1,Mislup ior more than thirty j'ears. He leaves a son, David Eockweíl, wh.o was in business here until reently ; a daughter, Mts. Irving Hammond, oí 'J.ima ; and another daughter, Mts. H. Howe, o! Ithaca, Mich. 'Mr. líoekwell was an honored and respected member of the MetlioOisi cliurcli. The funeral services were held at bis late residence Ín Sylan, and were conducted by Kev. C. Jj Adama of Oheleea, and Eev. A. ). Stonns of Detroit. Besidea the three children above mentloned, a widow and several grandshildren mourn Uie Icss oí thi.s kind, oíd pioneer.
