Eev. Dr. Canideu M. Cobern, of the M. E. church of this city, has decided to accept the cali f rom the M. E. church at Denver, Colo. The church to which he goes is one oft he largest and most Tvealthy in the nation. The church edifice cost over $250,000 and tt 'has a $30,000 oigan in it. Dr. Cobern wiU be missed frorn tïüs city. He has been a powerïul pulpit orator, and 'has given the best of satisfaction in all the varied lines of work hre. It wiU be difficult to ii'l his place, and yet all will rejoice in his good fortune, beüeving that he rich'.y deserves all that may come to him. A committee ccnsisting of Dr. Breakey, Proís. Trueb!ood and Carhart, Xlessrs Whedon and Beal llave been appointed to secure a suceessor. No easy task.
