PLUMS. Now come the Plums ! We have accumulated a few dozen odd sizes of shoes during the great "Money Getting Sale," which we are going to move right off. Note the following : These goods are no samples that have been hawked about the country for six months ; these goods are from no bankrupt stock, that have been on the shelves of some country store for years. We never buy such goods, even at 10 cents on the dollar. Our trade will no have such goods, and neither would we insult them by asking thein to look at such goods. The goods we will offer you as "Plums" are from such stock as we have built up our phenomenal business with, and we will use during this sale, and in the future, the same methods, namely, one price to all, and fair dealing. Generous and courteous treatment to our customers, always giving lowest prices. The goods we have laid out for the slaughter will simply be cut one-third of the price, that is, we will honestly sell them one-third less than the regular price. 'This sale will last until March lst, if the goods hold out. The $2.00 Men's Calf Shoe, which we have been selling at $1.44, will now be closed out at $1.39. JACOBS & ALLMAND, Washington Block, Washington St. No goods charged during this sale.
