Though it is true that -the Y. W. C. A. "lias money in the bank," it must be kept ior the rent oï ilie oorning year, as thcir plan is to pay down lor their rooms. Henee this sum is not available ior any other purpose, and they dare not issume a responslbíUty añless ihey see away o; meeting it. The entertainment committee are a grand help in the fioances oi the society but they have already aeeumed all the responsibility that it is wise ior them to undertake. Henee the meeting of Friday evening is to be an important one. li any friend of the girls has a suggestion in regard to the matter, they wlll be glad to receive it.
