The G. A. R. Evening
The G. A. E. evenmg in the TJnity dub course at the Unitarian churcli Monday evening, was very good indeed. The paper by Mr. Saunders lost much of its interest to the audience by reason of their not being able to hear what he said. He talked too ltfw. Karl Harriman failed to appear, and his place was Ulied very accepta-bly by "W. IC. Childs -writh a recitation entitled "A. Word Picture of tihe War." Col. H. 8. Itean gave the aadlence a clear exposition of the G. A. R. and lta purposes. The mueic was fine, "Tenting on the old Camp Ground," being especially pleaeing.
