The regular March term of the circuit court conveiunl o nMonday, the jury being called ior yesterday. The Uocket startod out witli '21 rimlnal cases, 44 issues of lacfc, 1 issue of law. 11 chancery st class, 3 chancery 2d elass, 19 clianccry 4th class. Monday was spent in calling the calendar, and yesterday the crimiiials were arraigned and pleaded. all of them mot g"uilty and the following had tneir cases nolle pi-ossed : The Prople vs. Jacob Dingman, rape ; the same vs. Chas. Hiñes, robbery ; the same vs. Jacob Mack, false pretenses. In the suit of the Board of Supervisors, vs. Paul G. Suekey, for appropriating public money to 'nis own use, an ordor was issued allowing tflie plaintiff to file an amended bil! of particulars. These cases were coutinued by consent : Thomas Suoy vs. Thomas Birkett ; Adam Brown vs. Fred Eiting. John F. Feldkamp vs. Henry ICoetbe; People vs. Edward H. Wint. Tlie Toople vs. Walter Iick, assault and battery. sent to Detroit House of Correction 3 mos.; Iïerbert Flowers, larceny, one year at Tonia; Charles Tliompson, larceny, one year at Jackson ; Wm. D. Day, larceny, one year at Jackson ; Sadie Le Vear, druiikard and tippler, one year at Detroit H. C; Geo Richel, violation oí liquor laAV, $25 and eosts. Paid. People vs. C. P. McKiustry. .lefendant waived Information and admitted to bail in the sum of $1,500, wit A. Ij. Nowlin as eurety. Judgment was glven Hugo Sherer against the Ferguson Road & CartCo. for $195.03 ; J. D. Corey against John T. Feldkamp, $1,168.89. The time was extended until the first day of next term in which to file a ibill of exceptlons in the case of Whalen vs. M. C. B. R.
