Riley, of Battle Creek, has 1een Tisiting Ann Arbor friends during the week. Miss Mary Durheim wlll visit her sister Emma in Detroit, over Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. L. Talmer have boen visiting his parents in Flint. during the week. Julius V. Seyler, of Detroit, was the guest over Sunday, of his mother, on E. Liberty st. A. J. Diehl lias gone to Marquette -to take charge of Goodspeed's shoe store at tliat place. Dr. R. P. fopeland was -alled to Bay City last week. on business, returning home Snturday. Miss Clara Felner has been ontertainlng her friend. Miss Lillie Aberle. of Delhi, during the week. Mrs. M. M. Hudson. Qf Washtenaw ave., is spcmlins; severnl weeks with relativos at Pittsburg, Pa. Dr. Emil H. Baur, who has been visiting his mother on W. Huron Kt.. has returned home to Chicago. Mrs. S. Duraaid, of Toledo, has been tihe guest of her brother Walter Roost of Miller ave., during the week past. Mr. Robert Weidenmann, of New Tork City, is the guest of his sister Mrs. R. H. Kempf, of S. División et, Mrs. Catharine Reyer and laughter Amanda, have been visiting witu friends at River Raisin during the week. Miss Elizabeth Fitzgerald, of N. Main st., who has been visiting relatives in New York City, returned lome Thursday. Rev. W. K Tedröw has been spendtng the week at Berrie-n Bpvings. in the interest of a new English Tntheran church to be organized there. Prof. Jerome C. Knowlton. who has leen close to death's door during the past ten days or so, is convalescing, mnch to the Joy of everybody in Ann Arbor. Mr. and Mrs. Wooster Blodgett of Webeter, have beconie vesldents of Ann Arbor, upon which Ann Arbor is to be ongratulated. Tliey are residing with thoir (laughter Mrs. Dr. W. S. Jfoore. John E. D.
