The Industrial School has not had quite its usual euccess this year. When we closed erar school last June for the Buanmer we expected to begin again early in -the ïall, but were unable to find a room. In November Mr. Beal offered us a room in the Courier Block and fcaid we were welcome to Etay 'tJiere until he needed it. "We remained tiiere until the let ot March, when we were obliged to look elsewhere. Our echool has been closed four weeks, amd now ior the third time, Mr. Beal has come to our ald, and we r eopen our school next Saturday, April 4, in the Courier Block. Witn all our interruptlons the school has prospered. "We have seventy ehildren and thirteen faithful teachers. ThO school is dlvided into classes from iive to ten In a claes, the teachers promoting the ehildren from ome kind of work to another as fast as they deern it advisable, every child "beginning with the eimplest kind of sewing, first overhand work, then back stitching, hemming, baeting, etc. TVe meet eve) ry Saturday from 2 o'clock until 4. W sew ome ïiour and forty minutes, then we spend twenty minutes ing and listening to short talks on various topics. We are always glad to welcome our friends and think they will teel well paid il they visit our school.
