To the Republican FAectors of the Second District of the State of Michigan: The District Con vention of the Kepublieans of the Second District of Michigan is hereby called to meet at the city of Ann Arbor on Thursday, April 3Oth. at. 12 o'clock noon, at he Court House, for the purpose of elecüng two delegates and two altérnate delegates to the Republican National Convention to be ïeld al St. Louis. Mo., June 16th, 1896, and the .ransaction of such olher business as may roperly come before the convention. Lawkence, Secretary. H. D. Shull, J. M. Collier. Albert Stiles, Second Congressional District Committee. Republiean Ward Caueuses. The Eepublican Ward Cauceses for the city of Ann Arbor will be held on Monday evening, April 13lh, 1896. at 7:30 o'clock p. m., (local time) for the purpose of electing delegates to .he county convention to be held in Ann Aror on April 20th, and transacting such other usiness as may come before the meeting, at the following places : First Ward- O. M. Martin's store. Second Ward- John Heinzmann's store. Third Ward- Court House Basement. Fourtn Ward- Fireman's Hall. Fifth Ward- Engine House. Sixth Ward - Engine House. Seventh Ward-Glen V. Mill's residence, No.26Madlson St. Each ward will be entitled to the following number of delegates : First ward 8 Fifth ward 3 Second ward 8 Sixth ward 5 Third ward 9 Seveith ward-.- 4 Tourth ward 8 E. The Republican8 of Washtenaw County will meet at the Court House, In the city of Ann Arbor, on MONDAY, APRIL 20th, 1896. at 11 o'clock a. m. for the purpose of electing 19 delegates to the state convention, to be held In Detroit, on the 6th day of May, 1896, to elect 19 delegates to a district convention to be held in Ann Arbör on the 30th day of April, 1896, to electa new county committee, and to transact such other business asmay properly come before the convention.
