In the llttle volume of farm stntistics issued by loe Secretary of State are many figures Khat are interestIng. It is inipossible to give them all, so we liave compiled a few tables, giving for Oach township the figures that we thought would be of the greatest interest to our readers tüiroughout the county. Here is a table, for instance, containing the number of acres of fana lands in each township, number of farms, and also the average acres to each farm : i t h Town8. sg 5 as SS . Lyndon has the reatest amount of suoh laad of any townskip, 8,039 acres. Sylvan follow8 with 7,056 acres, and Lima 7,017 acres. York has the largest number of improTed acres 17,573 wit hBridgewater next with 16.786, followed by Pittsfield with 16,307. The county has a good record in the line of live stock which is shown by towBShips in the table following: .O Town. Of tlhe number under the head of cattle 10,827 are milch cows, in whicli list York leads with 795, closely followed by Pittsfield with 791, Bridgewater and Saline following with 620 each. That was a very poer year for peaches, pecially in tfois county, there not betog one-tlhird of a erop. The record few apples raised that year is 20,163 bushels, and of peaches 5,193 busihete, of which Ann Arbor town is credited witih 3,435 bushels of the latter, and 550 bushels of apples only. Salem raised the most apples 5,117 busliels, Lodi coming next with 3,375 1ushels, and Lyndon wlth 3.065 bussels. The coumty is credited with 828 bushels of stra-vvberries sold in 1894, valued at $2,073, Ann Arbor town furntsOiliis 110 bushels and realizing $200 from tlhem, and Ypsilanti town 462 busliels, receiving $1,109. There vre $1,509 wortlh of cherries eold in the county, Ann Arbor town securing $613 of ie amount. Of other ijorrtes Ypsilamti secured $2,685 out of a total of $5,189 in the county. There are 11 towns in the county in wbich bees axe kept, hoving 824 colonies, of -vVhich 99 are kept In cellars, 426 m ciiaff hives, and 290 are umpratected. These colonies produced 9,436 ïbs of comb honey, 2,460 lbs of extracted hooey and 161 lbs of beeswax. Washtemaiv ranked as 3 in No. of bushels of wheat raised and 12 as regards yield per acre.
