Commencement at Saline will include Class Day on Wednesday, and a cominenceinent address on Thursday of the last week of June. Hon. H. R. Pattengill will be the speaker. The Saline high school base ball team plays Manchester high school at Saline next Saturday. Music for the commencement exercises will be furnished by the Ypsilanti society archestra, and the local Mozart male quartette, at an expense of flfty dollars, our Saline correspondent says.J George Hauser, of Salem, died Monday niirht, aged 45 years. The Elocution class of the Milan high school will give a recital Friday evening June 5th, for which an elabórate program bas been arranged, which a lack of time prevents our publishing. A terrible tragedy occurred at Waterloo, near the western line of this county, on Suuday last. Because of jeulousy Louis Heydlauff shot and killed Emina Moeckle, and then attempted to , take his own life. The two families live about a half a'mile apart, and the two young people had been playmates. The tragedy bas caused great excitement in that vicinity. Both were known here in Ann Arbor, Heydlauff being a brother-in-law of Chas. W. Vogel, the Ann street butcher.
