At a regular meeting of "VVelch Post Xo. 137, G. A. E., an invitation was extended to the Post to attend a meet Ing to be held by the Y. M. C. A., at their rooms, Sunday afternoon, July 5, at 2:45. The invitation was aceepted. G-ood speakers have been secured for the occasion, and patlïotfcm will be the theme presented. Should this notice meet the eye of any old veteran soldier or sailor who wag ot present at the meeting TuesUay evening June 9, he may consider himself included in the invitation and Is hereby invited and requested to meet at the Post room at least one hour betere the service begins- say 1:45. It is hoped that all members of the Post will avail themselves of the opportunity to attend this service so generously given by the young Men's Ohristian Association. Míe. Mary A. Staj-kwsather lias iven to the Ladies' Mt. Vernon Association, through Rlrs. Kathbone of Ann Ai'bor, -vice regent for Michigan, thirteen volumes of the "Official World's Oolumbian Exposition." This patriotic society of women is restoring and caring for the home of "Washington, and has done a great amount of ivork during the past year.- Ypsilanti Sentinel.
