The local Masons liad the pleasure of entertaining soiue 50 uieiubers of Palestine Lodge, Detroit, yesterday. The party carne to Ypsilanti Saturday on their wheels and carne to Aun Arbor by a special train on ihe motor line Sunday morning. They were met at the junction by a crowd of local Masons and condueted to Masonic Temple, where light refreslmiiuHs were served. Wlien cigars were passed Worshipful Master Dodsley briefly welcomed the visitors. Worshipful Master Charles lïowo, of Palestine Lodge, gracefully responded, after whlch canie brief speeches by Brothers Pitts, Diek. Pray, Iïobinson, Oldfield and Baydell, of Detroit, and Watts, of Ann Arbor. Xhen the Ann Arbor Masons invited their guests to take a ride around the city on two specially chartered street cars. At the Junction the Detroit Masons gave three rousing cheers and a tiger for their entertainers and took their departure for Ypsilanti from that place to return to their homes in the evening. The visit was one long to be remembered by both visitors and visited. The Detroit contingent were accompanied by about a dozeu of their wlreis.- Daily Tlmee.
