It is estiniated Ihat the circulation of these bolting papers reaches over one-half of the democratie party of the Union. As a matter of fact, there are in the entire country less than a score of Democratie journals of any influence which will have not repudiated the candidates nominated in this city last week. A few newspapers in the foregoing list will advocate the election of McKinley, but the great inajority unite in the general detnaud that another couvention be held and candidates chnsen who will be thoroughly representative of the great and ever-enduring principies of Democracy, says the Chicago Chronick'. It will also be noticed that there is nu sectioiialism about the list. It includes every section, north, east, south and west. GERMAX PAPERS BOLT. That the Gennans as a class are opposed to unsound finance and soft money, is proven, not only by their opposition in the past to all sorts of greenbackism and fiatism, but in the present struggle by the bolting of every prominent democratie Germán newspaper in the nation against the Chicago nominees and platform.
