The eight year old cliild of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Boecker, residing ou S. Main st., is lying at the point of death and suffering excrutiating ïDain from lock-jaw. Tlie child had au ulcerated tooth. Monday a suiall snake was killed and left lying in the yard. The child played with this dead snnke for a considerable time and is supposed to have communicated some sort of poison to nis ulcerated tooth by putting his fingers into his ruouth. At any rate a severe and palnful case of lock-jaw cteveloped Tuesday. Doctors were suuiinoned untll at one time eight of thein were laboring to relieve the lad's sufferings. Arnong these doctors was Dr. Vaughan. But relief came slowly, and tlie story goos, Mr. Boecker concluded to dismiss the regular physicians and rely entirely npon Ohrictian Science for a cure. At any rate the child is still quite low and an attempt is being made to save hirn by faith and prayer- the two Instruments of the Christian Scientist
