At a meeting oí stockholderg, hel 1 last Frtday, a coïisolidation was effeected of the Ann Arbor & Ypsllanti St. Railway Co., and also of ttie Aan Arbor Electric Streed Railway Go, under the name of th; former. Tiu n3W company ha; $10,030 stock and $150,000 in bonds. The two companies cansolidated by each relinqulshlns onehalf the amo infc of stock ar bcmds owned by them in the old organizations. Preliminary steps -svere also taken to change the line to an eleitric one its entire dlstance. This will be done at once, and it ig hoped to have it completed within a few weeks. The Ann Arbor Tbompson-Huston Electric Co will furnisih the power. In the ■meantime the roiad will be run as usual 'wlth no cliange in regard to ratös chiarged, and until the re-equipment is put in it wiH bO necessary to continuO the same method in purchasiny: tickets as has been la vogue heret of ore Wl:en the change doss take place the senici; will likely be much more irequent than now exists and one ticket puichased in YpsiLanti will take a person to any place on the line in the city oí' Ann Arbor.
