The eummer normal for county teachers has been in session in the hig!i cbool building, this city, ior the past two weeks. It opened with an enrollnient of 60. This week it has increased to 70. The teachers of flhe county appreciate this opportunity afforded ttoem for an excellent review Prof. M. A. Oobb, of Ypsilanti,' in the sciences, has charge of ilgebra amd phyaics. He has proven himselt a teacher o; ftoe ability. He Is thoroiihly familiar wlth his subjects, and presente them to the teachers in n cloar and cooicise manner. Miss Ce'.ia Brennan of the Chicago schools, has developed a great spirit of interest and enthuslasm amongthe" teathers. Dwight Casslus Marión Is the heayiest man physieally at the echool. He doesii'l take a back seat Tor any one in arithmetic and physies. E. IX Pieirce is regarded as one of, the brightest teachers at the institue. Míí-ís Jennie JIcArthur of Ann Arbor, is preparing for a first grade certifícate. Shie has been a very oessfn'. teacher. Misa Anna G. Föster of Clarkson is in attendance.
