Tho boomers of Bay View, Harbor Point, Oíd Missian, Maeatowa Park, St. Joseph aad other west Michigan beaches claim tdiat they are cooler because the prevailiog wlnds are fro,m the west, henee off the water, while on our eastern shore the usual winds írotu thie west ai-e from hot, dry land.
