There was quite a large attendance at the fair grounds last Saturday aftemoon, to see the foot ball game between the Orchard Lake and High School teams. The Orchard Lake boys had been coached by Bloomingston. the old 'Varsity player, and they were very coefident of winning. The High Schools played too fast ball for the cadets, however, and won by a score of 10 to 0. About $25 was realized by the game. There wiil be a party given. in Nickel'8 Hall, Friday evening Oct. 30 for the benefit of the Athletic Association ef the High School, to which all the members of the alumni) as well as the High SchooH students are invited. Admission will be $1. The next game the Hisrfi School team will contest, will be ivitli the Detroit School for Boys, at Detroit, on Saturday, Oct. 31. The boys are -ery confklent of winning, as there will probably be quite a number of students .that wMl accompany them. Mr. J. Fox has been appointed ,'nanaging editor, and Miss Lyons literary editor of the High School Quarterly. There will also be editors appointed from all the classes. The first numDer is to appear just befo re the Christ3nas vacation.
