The board of election commiesioners of this county are véry kind hcarted men. Aiter the tickets for this comíiv liad been eiitirely printed, .0,000 in number, and ready for ilistribution, the board assemb.led agaln, and (o accommodate the pópocratHc county committce, who were displeased wil li its arrangement, they ordered tlie tickets all printed over agaln arranged to suit that committee. It was a kind deed, Indeed, and wlll no doubt make many votes for the republican ticket. To show how republdcans have been treated in the past it is but necessary to refer to the fact that when the viignettes were first allowed under the law, the Ann Arbor city ntectios board, which was then lemocratic, refused to allow the republicans to use a vignette, because oí a slight technicality. And the ballots were printed that year with only one vignette upon W, that of the democrats - a rooster. Ezra B. Norris and Thos. D. Kearney figured in that political kindness. Xow a republican board "heap coals of fire," on their heads, and give thera just what they want.
