A Northside Church

The citizens of the Northside have for some time had a plan in their heads to erect a cliurch ediflce in their vicinity that would be sufRcient size to accommodate the people, and of a design that would be a credit to them. On Monday evening there was a gathering of those interested in the enterprise at the chapel on Wall st., and an organization formed to push the affair. After a general discussion of plans and methods, the followingofficers were chosen : President- Earl Ware. Secretary- Gilbert C. Rhodes. Treasurer- Spencer D. Lennon. Another meeting will be held on Tuesday eveuing next Nov. 17, when every resident of the Northside is urged to be present. With excellent oflïcers chosen to push this enterprise, it looks like a success. And there are many people in all sections of the city who will be glad to help along this worthy enterprise.
