Capt. Allen Has A Word To Say

Ypsilanti. Mich., Nov. 9th 1896. To the Editor : In my last Courier I find the following : Capt. Allen claims not to have changed his views on the money question since he made the speech to the Insurance men, published in the Courier two weeks ago. That's good. I suppose the paragraph is founded on an interview published in the Daily Times. Had vou printed the interview, as foi printed the extract from my Detroit speech, I could have no just cause for iomplaint, as then }'our readers, having both before tliem could judge wliether I set up any "claims" and if so whether :hey are well founded.
