Y. W C. A. Notes

The Young Ladies Christian Association will kpep open house New Year's Day and invite their friends, both ladies and gentlemen, to cali at tbat time. ïhe rooms wil] be open at 3 p. in. The first number on the program will be given at tí o'clock. At 7 :30 a guitar duet will be followed by a song, and later in the evening a piano duet, recitations, and selections by piano and violin. The girls will be glad to see any who are iuterested in the Y. W. C. A. and extend a special iuvitation to any girls who may be strangers in Ann Arbor, or here away from friends. An entertainment will be given at High School Hall Friday evening Jan. löth, for the benefit of the Y. W. C. A. The program will be in two parts ; the flrst consisting of recitations illustrating the work of the elocution class, and elosing with a scène froni the "Ruggleses fiinner Party" adopted froni Kate Douglass Wiggins' beautiful Christmas story. The second part of the program will consist of statue poses, and studies, and ;i pantomimes of Rock pf Ages, by the children, will be an approporate close to the sceue part of the program.
