Spafard, of Manchester, was reelected, and out of 100 votes cast he receivea 99. This is a compliment of no small proportions, especlally when the f act is coTisWered that he has already served ten years in that oapacity. A. E. Graves, oí Ypsdlaati town, wag elected in place of Wm. Campbell, of Ptttsfleld, and Rnssell C. Reeves, of Dexter village, tn place oí Edwin Ball of Webster. The Board of Audítore, conststing of J. The closiing year has been an unfortunate öne for the company when it is judged by the pa-at, as iit has cost $3 on each $1000 imsuTed. There were L2 losses from ligtitning, a thiimr that is not likely to happen agaln in years. For the past seven yeaxs this company's assessment has been only $12.50 on a $1000, -which hias been so cheap that a year with many losses makes a big contrast, and probably had something to do with the change made in directors. There were 72 losses paid durimg the yeaT, aggregatimg $17,000. The capital stock te no-w $5,232,645, a declln durimg the year of $57,975.
