There was a Hibtle incident at the joint meeting oí Fraternity and Golden Rute lodges, F. & A. M., at Masonic tempte last Wednesday evening that wlM last a long tlttne In the minds of tbiose present. There were ionr camdidates raised that evening from Fellow Craftá to Master Masons, and after that degree Mui been comfeiTed, Past Master W. H. Dorranoe called Past Master Chas. B. Davison to tlie center of the room, and wlth words both appropriate amid earnest, presented him wtth a beautiiul and costly diamond stud. The casket in which it was placed was of ivory, and was insct'fbed : "C. B DaviSion, from Fraternity Lodge F. & A. M., for seven years of faithful service." Mr. Davison responded in a very neat and happy speech, that iitted exactly Into the place it was put.
